Nice spacious room, convenience to town and hiking areas, good breakfast, very quiet, piecefull stay
A bit smoky smell in the room, water temperature changed while having shower
Very relaxing and clean.
Bath very slippy and dangerous. Late night bar facilities not available.
I found the staff very friendly breakfast lovely and hot and freshly cooked . Room lovely and spacious plenty of hot water, and we arrived at 12,noon as we were going to a funchtion in Kilmallock and it was no problem to check in early and get changed as we had travelled from Dublin . would have no hesitation recommending Deebert House Hotel
Room was fantastic, large and spacious as was the ensuite bathroom. Check-in efficient and staff helpful in ringing taxi's for us.
Breakfast room upon arrival was quite small, cereals and juice left on one of the tables, bit offputting and the tables were quite small with space between each table very close so felt couldnt have private breakfast or relax over a coffee
Very friendly staff both at reception and in the dining room Room was large and was spotlessly clean. It was a very cold evening when we arrived but the room was very warm (actually had to tur off the heat). Had a very good meal even though we were the only diners! Very good breakfast which was freshly cooked. Food and wine very well priced
The Staff were friendly and advised about the countryside and history etc
Hotel room permanently stank of cigarette smoke
The staff were excellent as was the service. The hotel sits on the site of an old mill and still retains some of the old walls. The food both at breakfast and dinner was faultless and the staff more than helpful.making sure we had everything we needed.
Only one small thing. The shower door in the bathroom was loose and coming away from it's fitting. But this did not distract from our stay.
Hotel is in a nice setting with good facilities. The room was comfortable and breakfast filling. The hotel would be good for a 'get away from it all' type break.
The map on the website could be improved. We had to phone reception for directions.
Good food, Good Staff.
Cobwebs on ceiling in bedroom.Stain`s on bedside cabinet, from previous occupants. Not clean!!!!!Not good value for money. When we arrived we were given our key in a used cover, the plastic key was bent and obviously well used by previous customers.
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious room, freshly cooked breakfast, good dinner
Room lighting not convenient for reading; we had some problems with water pressure in our 2nd floor room. Apart from the abbey ruin, Kilmallock is a rather dismal place, no acceptable dinner options apart from this hotel.
Very comfortable spacious room with all facilities including free WiFi and noon checkout allowed me a really restful stay overnight on my way back home.
There are no words to express how wonderful this experience was. From the first moment of check in to the last moment at checkout, it was a totally amazing experience. Margaret, Jamal and their staff ,Mags and Nicki, were incredibly kind and efficient. There was no task too small or too large that they could not assist you with, whether it was finding you the correct transformer for a phone to assisting with genealogy requests. They were there to assist. The chef is incredible. Each and every meal was exquisite. I can not say enough about this wonderful hotel and awesome family. I can not wait to go back in the spring. I have stayed at many, many hotels around the world and would rate this very high on the list. Immaculate hotel. A gem. K
Mooi gelegen klein hotel in rustig dorpje met mooie ruime kamers. Vriendelijk personeel.Veel wandel/fietsmogelijkheden in nabijgelegen Ballyhoura Country.
